Iron Heart's classic work shirt, made from a 12oz dobby loom woven cloth with Sashiko thread stitching. Dating back to the 17th century, Sashiko is a traditional form of Japanese folk embroidery used for both decorative and functional reinforcement of fabrics. With a translation meaning “little stabs”, the technique involves a running stitch which creates aesthetically pleasing geometric patterns in a piece of cloth, simultaneously reinforcing the weave for added durability. When intertwined with their heavyweight dobby cloth, the result is an incredibly intricate weave with a deeply textured, yet soft and pliable hand. A fabric full of character, the warp threads are indigo rope dyed - meaning that the colour will fade with wear and washing - whilst the weft yarns and Sashiko thread are reactive dyed and won’t fade.

The ‘Cody’ is the newest western shirt designed by Stevenson Overall Co. The front yoke is shaped like a buffalo horn, and back yoke is designed in a wing-shape. Chest pockets are designed in an arch. Cuffs are cut diagonally and sleeve plackets are also designed in an arch. Slim fitted with a shorter body length for an overall balanced silhouette. The fabric is a fine-wale corduroy and double-woven making the fabric thick and dense at touch, but the fabric itself will stretch making the slim fit design east and comfortable to wear.

HOW WE MEASURE
first off, grab your favorite t-shirt, a measuring tape, and find a flat surface to measure on. lay the tee out flat, smoothing out the fabric to remove all slack.
neck: the width of neck opening from left neck seam to right neck seam at the shoulder's highest point.
shoulder: the width from left to right where sleeve meets shoulder seam.
chest: the width of chest, starting 1" below the armhole.
sleeve: the length of the outside of the sleeve from shoulder seam to bottom of cuff.
length: the length from where the shoulder meets neck to the bottom of the hem, measured from the front of the garment.
