Momotaro - 18oz Heavy Indigo/Beige Selvedge with Beige Battle Stripes - Natural Tapered. We were so tempted to add our signature black battle stripes to this denim, but ultimately our eye for a unique, new color won out. We really love the way the creamy color of the stripes compliments the beige weft on this denim. If you've been following us at all in the last 9 years, you know how much we love an earth-tone colored weft. It's also right in our heaviness sweet spot. We typically wear between 14-18oz denim at the shop. This pair will give you that iconic "dirty fade" that's so sought after by denim heads. The beige weft will eventually poke through giving you a rich tone that only comes from unbleached fibers. This is a special one with a slight slub that we can't imagine people will be happy slipped through their fingers. The fit this round is really impeccable. We think they opened up both fits to allow for the heavier denim, which in our opinion suits these fits. The fabric is also draping extremely well for an 18oz denim.
